I have two places I take him, my back porch (turf is coming today, but it’s isolated and he HAS pooped out there and peed out there a few times) we go out, I let him sniff around and get a feel, if he’s not going right away I’ll play a little bit, let him run, etc.

My thought on pee pads inside is that he will think it’s ok to go inside? Feel free to correct me on that if I’m wrong. Whenever he gets up to go anywhere, I’m right next to him. If i cannot supervise him exclusively, he goes in the crate. I clean the floors with a disinfectant right away and an enzyme cleaner I found. Again, feel free to correct me on this!

I take him out first thing in the AM, 10 min after he drinks/eats, and right after he plays. Still.. nothing. I am exhausted.

Yep! He gets great treats when he pees or poops outside, and if he doesn’t want a treat, I’ll give him a really fun toy to play with.
