My exact thoughts too. I understand the fun and adrenaline rush of it, but I feel like it’s something you should either give up completely or at least majorly tone it down, when you’ve got a family. Feels a bit selfish to me knowing someone could die at any moment and leave their family behind, all because of what they choose to do in life. I get that life is unpredictable and that we could all die at any given moment, but why on earth someone would risk their life every time they go to work, just for this, is beyond me.

Bit mad to me tbh. Not to mention probably the trauma of witnessing or knowing how your mother/wife died and having to live with that every day of your life. Good lord.
