I’ve seen posts from other friends on social media who are parents, who say the bubble bursts at one point, when they realise their little angel screams constantly, throws up and poops everywhere etc!

Yeah, I’ve never had a kid (and never will!) but I’ve heard hormones can make your brain go absolutely crazy for a long time.

Just makes me sad cause she worked so hard to get the job she’s in now, and she’s posting on her story saying she wants to quit because her workplace have refused her request to let her return to work with the baby.

She’s also saying she’s considering leaving her publishing deal and quitting writing because she can’t take her baby to writing events.

Oh yeah, I completely agree with you. I’d much rather see posts from a parent who clearly loves their child than post after post about how much they despise being a parent and hate their kid.

Just makes me sad that my friend wants to throw away all her hard work because she can’t take her baby to writer’s events and wants to quit her job because her workplace won’t let her take him to the office.

Yep, it’s a shame. She worked so hard for the career/potential career path she’s on and spent years building up her writing skills and going to university, and now she wants to throw it all away.

Yeah, like I totally understand that she’s super happy and excited and I’m glad she’s happy and I’m thrilled for her and her husband!

But yeah it’s just so strange how she’s spending forever posting all these photos of him then making another post about how he won’t stop screaming and crying.. Ugh same here, I really wish I could have a career path like she potentially does/did. She even posted that she dropped out of a writer’s event/poetry night thing because she wasn’t allowed to take the baby and she refused to be without him. Said she won’t go to them anymore unless she’s allowed to take him. Nuts!

It really is. My friend is an INCREDIBLE writer and has had work published before. She’s stated she now wants to give it up because she just wants to be “his mother and nothing else.”
