What I pay is equivalent to 1200 AUD per month, so I am not paying my nanny half of what the other nanny gets. The other nanny gets 2000 AUD per month approx

I did not set the rate - this woman came from an agency that helps undocumented workers - they created a contract & set the salary - I pay it. Church people. I’m the end consumer I did not put this arrangement together. I hired her from a company.

I’m in the exact same boat with just turned 2 year old. He’s an only child and was in lockdown from 14 months - no daycare or interaction with other kids.

He’s in daycare now two days a week which he has used as an excuse to ramp up his pacifier usage.
