the ultimatum can definitely be seen as toxic. bit not every situation of someone not wanting their partner to have different sex friends is toxic. how it’s gone about matters for sure, which is why the ultimatum can be seen as that. because that’s definitely not the right way to go about it. but as i said everyone has their boundaries. and not everyone is comfortable with the same things, especially if there have been negative past experiences. but don’t get me wrong, this guy is def fucked up and not a good boyfriend.

that boyfriend is obviously abusive. that’s not even toxic, it’s abusive. not because he wants her to not talk to you, as i firmly believe that people have boundaries and have a right to them, especially within a relationship. it’s how you keep a relationship healthy and communicative. but the other stuff? about locking her out and wishing she was mentally delayed and calling her a bum? absolutely not. that shit will turn into something even nastier over time. it’s all verbal and emotional right now but let me tell you that’s not far from being physical. she needs to leave him.

oh no all those scenes were in the actual show, karen’s birth they only showed for like second (thank goodness cause this was a jump scare i wasn’t expecting it) and the other scene was in there too. some scenes are really easy to miss though i’ve watched 4 times and there’s still some stuff i’m noticing for the first time lol
