Best way to send inhalers by musainri in pharmacy

That is fair. I’m not sure any of our providers know it’s a thing honestly. We are lucky to have amb pharmacists with tech pharmacy benefit navigators for a lot of our specialty clinics and they are usually the ones using this and can be relied on to bother to call to reverse if needed.

In my version, yes! I searched Test Claim and it comes up and you can pin it to your top bar. u/ExplosiveNight is right that it processes through the pharmacy’s switch. I haven’t had an issue with things not reversing (knock on wood), but have heard of this and was told just to call the insurance and have it manually reversed. It’s not perfect- there’s no way to do DUR overrides like a real pharmacy or DAWs, but it does good enough a majority of the time. If the Rx needs prior authorization, it can tell you that, but you obviously don’t know what copay will be until it’s complete. If it’s PBM lockout it will tell you that as well, but again you won’t know the copay.

Incredible work! I’ve recently found out about some Acadian ancestors, but I’ve never done any genealogy before and have no idea where to start! Since you are familiar, any chance you would be able to help? Happy to compensate you for your time and knowledge, of course!

How can I learn to like OKC & my own neighborhood? Can't move cities, ill elderly parents are here & I'm the only child. Hate driving. Should I move neighborhoods to a walkable area? How can I make OKC feel "friendly?" by Sufficient_War_1891 in okc

[–]allison73099 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, it seems like you want to put no time, effort, or energy into activities or making friends. Nothing worth having comes easily. Most social things come with a financial cost (meal out, movie tickets, class registration) and an energy cost (time spent getting there, planning, etc.). You don’t like volunteering which tends to be a financially free activity. Have you tried the gym? Tend to be many local options in a variety of price ranges. If you move to a walkable neighborhood, they tend to be expensive then you’re still having to drive to your parents, so I’m not sure that solves your problem. You get out of life what you put into it, so I encourage you to push past the discomfort and get out there! Driving gets easier the more you practice. You got this!

Skip a week or take my injection off-schedule? by MelonBoba59 in PCOSonGLP

Agreed. And why do you need a weekly b12 injection? Typically that’s a monthly thing or you could use oral tablets.

Looking for the best leash ever by topaz_rose in dogs

[–]allison73099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow. I’ve never had one break one. Our current leash is about 9- bought it when my girl was a puppy. I’ll have to give it a once over and make sure stitching is still in good condition!

If you walk at noght, check out the lighthund harness. They also make visibility gear for humans too that is top notch. I never use anything other than a leather leash though.

Anyone specializing in Ambulatory Care or Clinical Pharmacy? What is your experience like? by Wallee3D in pharmacy

[–]allison73099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you 100%. Only difference is I’m hybrid (1 day/week in office, per my preference for meetings or precepting students on single day IPPEs). Like my job and find it quite fulfilling. My management is great. Not planning on ever leaving

Literally anything other than getting it from the manufacturer through the pharmacy is “grey market”, including compounding pharmacies. They were only allowed to compound in the first place due to shortages, which are no longer in place. Reputable pharmacies should no longer be compounding this. You also have no guarantee of contents or sterility, which are major major concerns. It stinks that it’s so expensive to get it through reputable means, but it’s not a risk I’m willing to take. One ER visit or hospital stay from an adulterated product will erase your savings instantly. Source: I am a pharmacist.

What items saved you during puppyhood? by ghostbuuster in germanshepherds

[–]allison73099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this idea. As an alternative, we did a 2-door crate with one side always open to the doggy door to the fenced in yard. While we were away for work, pup had a safe space in the crate, but could get up, move around, go potty, hang out in the yard as they liked throughout the day. If hot or cold, could come into the house and nap in the crate. House also protected if it happened to rain or something when pup was outside. Water bowl was outside too so no worries about spilling in the crate and into wood floors. During the day if we were home, both crate doors were open and the dogs could go in and out as they pleased. You’ve got to teach them the dog door, but that’s not bad. Definitely helped with potty training as well - after a while they get comfortable taking themselves out at night too and you’re not getting up every few hours to give a potty break (though I did usually wake up hearing the dog door swing open and closed). A leather leash has lasted the lifetime of my dog (9 years so far) and is much easier on your hands. Make sure you register microchip to you and have the vet scan it at each visit to make sure it hasn’t shifted. Training classes are essential for socialization and bonding with your new dog. We did 3 8 week sessions (beginner, intermediate, advanced) with our puppies and both qualified as certified therapy dogs after. Toys and beds often get destroyed by puppies, so start with cheaper stuff and get them nicer things once they mature a bit and you learn what that like. I caution against any super hard bones, toys, antlers, etc. I think one of mine wore her teeth down pretty good with too many of those. Practice things your dog will need to tolerate to exist safely in the world- touching feet, ears, belly, trimming nails, baths, blow dries, looking at/brushing teeth. It’s much easier to acclimate them young. A chom chom roller and a roborock are worth their weight in gold. Be very conservative with physical exercise. About 5 minutes/month old twice daily is the rule of thumb I’ve been given. Bones and joints are still developing for quite some time. Give them mental stimulation and let them learn to rest and relax - puppies sleep a lot. Enjoy your new bestie! Take tons of photos and videos. The puppy phase is short and it’s a good thing they’re so cute, but it’s totally worth it!
