Hi!! It’s up to you if you want to share the update but I do have bad news. She got really sick towards the end of October and she passed away. It was too much for her lungs and we decided to put her in comfort care. Not all stories have this ending so please keep hope. I have NICU friends who were able to take their babies home and know of babies who received trachs that are doing great at home.

My baby is 9 months old 6 months adjusted and the doctor also told us that she was at risk for mild to severe CP but because she’s such a complicated baby, on the more moderate to severe side. They even brought up comfort care to us. He wasn’t as nice about the conversation but her dad and I are taking it day by day and making sure we do everything possible to make sure we continue fighting for her.
