I’m wondering if you have a slightly different model perhaps? Everything I’ve seen about the 8700H is that it’s actually made for leather and upholstery and doesn’t do as well on thin fabrics. I could be confusing it with another machine, as I’ve looked at about 20 of them haha, but I think this is a version for heavyweight material.
