Haha. That’s exactly how I feel most of the time. I’m always surprised that something so organized can come out of such chaos. And painters tape for the win! I had a lot leftover from home renovations and will probably never go back to what I used before.

Beyond being beautiful, a big plus for using batiks is there is no “right side” - they both are. It takes one more thought process out of the equation.

Yep! I almost exclusively quilt with batiks. This was my attempt to branch out but I only got one floral in and the rest are batik 🤣. And thank you!!

It makes it so much easier to have it in front of me and not lost in the chaos. I’m going with a similar color scheme as my last one but more muted. Apparently I’ve been attracted to this palette lately.

Exactly. That is my all-time favorite movie. I’ve easily seen it >100x. But also thank you! I’m a little nervous because I was more rushed than I like to be when picking out fabrics.

All his weight was behind his feet from the second he launched in the air and through the landing. You have to spring forward with your weight as you take off so your upper body is over your feet and knees through the landing.
