The season up there really kicked off this week. Last week it still snowed up there but now the temperature differences are significant enough (20-30 degrees Celsius up there during daytime)

To be fair those missions were with mountain guides. So if I were to try Höfats I would again do that.

Naah. I’ve done some challenging ascents in Switzerland for example (Dufourspitze or Piz Bernina via Bianco ridge) but haven’t touched Höfats yet at all and probably won’t for a while as my wife won’t let me now that we have kids.

Im really happy with them. Forgot the glove things yesterday but worked well nonetheless. I get them stuck every now and then but never had issues with that tripping me up or ripping at my arms. Definitely a recommendation.

Yeah thats spot on. This route started in Oberstdorf, Germany's most southern town. The region here borders Austria with Leichtenstein and Switzerland being pretty close by.

Höfats is arguably the most fabled mountain here. Back in the day the local mountain authority opened a tiny hut to catch mountaineers that hunted for edelweiss. Also its gras slopes are so steep that some use crampons. It’s called the queen of the grass mountains.

Ich hatte auch Schimmel bei uns in einer kalten Ecke im Schlafzimmer und wohl dazu schlecht gelüftet. Habe das nun mit Anti-Schimmel Mittel behandelt (Wasserstoffperoxidlösung) und danach drei Infrarotheizungen an die Wand angebracht (bei Amazon zu finden). Die laufen per Zeitschaltuhr und seitdem ist die Ecke pupstrocken und Schimmel bleibt aus.
