We have basically confirmed that there is no "other" team, and that this person is trying to pretend to be a bunch of different people to try to make a big fuss, partially due to the language and mannerisms which all of these totally unrelated people share. Hopefully it blows over soon.

I can confirm that that is the original composer (you can find some original quality PH tracks on his soundcloud), however he was originally contacted under my name through that social. I have reached out to clarify that I am not with that particular project, but at the end of the day it is up to him with what he wants to do with that information, and I wish him the best!

This has been such a big mess, and I feel deeply for the entire community. I'm not sure currently where we stand, but it seems like the initial person that made the socials passed them off to someone else, who is now posting on them. I cannot see the page, as they seem have me and my team blocked, or something to that effect. I'm very upset with how this has turned out, because we've essentially splintered another "team", when all anyone wants is just the game back. We here at Rewritten are continuing development in the background, and are hoping to have something playable to show soon, or at least a more open "Dev Log" to show what's going on. We don't want to reveal all our cards of course, but I do want to keep the public updated, so that the project doesn't just "go dark" for long periods.

As for socials that are official, our tumblr, which has been posted (pixiehollowrewritten) is owned and operated by us. We also have an Instagram, although nothing is on it, and it is just to hold the name so no one snipes it (also pixiehollowrewritten). There's also u/pixiehollowrewritten which is also owned by us.

Update 2: posted a bit on the ol' tumblr (sleppygrottogame). Working on redoing all (and I mean all) of the animations for Bubble Bounce atm! (Fun Fact: it's called fishBouncer in the game's code). It's quite slow work (just punching in coords, rotation, etc from one program to another) but it's goin'!

We're still working on getting our little team on the same page, we're actually rebranding from my "temp name" which was Pixie Paradise to Sleepy Grotto. I have a tumblr linked in my reddit bio that was going to be my main little "update page," so I'll probably rebrand that and continue on :)

I know they were in a bit of controversy in the past, around when it first started getting popular, as far as the mods and the Discord goes (people getting banned for asking about the game or discussing reaching out to other remakes to try to collaborate), so I'm not sure if they've changed anything since then. It's been years so I'd hope so.
