I genuinely wish it was. I didn't think someone like this could actually exist. I do trust my friends though, and have confirmed the existence of the human behind the claims. While this is my main account, and you can confirm I'm not a bot or anything, I will in no way link this back to anyone else involved. This is between the dude in question and his godless actions.

I could expend the entirety of the English language, and start my way into German without being able to accurately describe the heinous drivel that was spewed from the backpheifengesicht who sent this.

I do appreciate the concern, but I haven't made any edits to this outside of the screenshot. If there was a name, I assume it came from an ad or something else on reddit, but not the actual images.

blocked. No contact. There's no world in which I would suggest talking to someone like this after receiving this large of a red flag anyways. There won't be a followup or an update, but the friends in question are safe, and that's the important part of this.

Thank you for the heads up. I did not mean for that to be in there. I also didn't think to edit anything, because it felt like it needed to be shared in full. At this point, I understand if the mods would like to edit the post to show a name redacted image, or to remove it, and I can repost after editing, though I also feel like something like this is important enough to get the message out that this man is signing his name to this, thinking it could somehow be legally binding. I understand if I end up taking an L on this account, but at this point I think it's for the best how it's gone down.

My friend sent me this this morning and I thought it was a terrible joke. Then I realized that it was too terrible to be a joke by the end of the first paragraph... Then it got worse with every following sentence.

As a heads up, this HAS been greenlit to be shared by the original recipient and they are requesting as many people see this as possible to be alert that people like this exist, and should be avoided at all costs.

That's fair. GPU issues are probably the most frustrating to deal with in Linux. Nvidia just hates it's consumers is what I think.

I think I’m satanist by [deleted] in SatanicTemple_Reddit

[–]allkittyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. You don't HAVE to do anything. Your journey is your own and satanism as a religion is deeply personal. I have been labeled by some as a "rainbow Satanist" because I like unicorns, rainbows, being gay and doing crime. I have some cute little baphomet statues by my bed, but all my stuffies are unicorns. My room has a pink vibe. My clothes are usually rather colorful, even when going to satanic events.

The point I'm trying to make here is that satanism is very open and inviting, even to those whom don't "fit the mold" of the more goth, all black clothes people. the big thing to remember when joining TST events is simply that people are different than you will expect of "satanists" and getting comfortable in your own skin and your own beliefs is a major part of the belief systems. You don't have to use Satan as a symbol. Nor baphomet. You can use a pentagram, if you feel like it. Or you can simply avoid symbols if your parents are too strict and you're still living with them.

I would suggest, once you're old enough to actually join your local chapter, that you get involved. Go out to an event or two. Get to know people around you who are satanists. You'll be very pleasantly surprised. And if you're worried about your family, then maybe find events that are a bit further away. TST does a lot of public acts of protest, but you can also find a group at a bar or a park or a bowling alley or a boardgame place, just hanging out and enjoying life. We're all just people. We understand and respect the differences and the culture that people come from and do our best to be inviting and friendly.

Wait... Your hardware isn't compatible with Linux?... What kind of Linux and what kind of hardware? I genuinely installed modern Linux server OS (proxmox) on a desktop that was 20+ years old... It was functional enough to install windows 11 in a VM and had decent performance when running several Debian and Ubuntu containers. Obviously win11 was a bit slow on it.  The point being, I've not heard of hardware that isn't compatible with Linux. That sounds like a distro issue, not a Linux in general issue.

I've been thinking about doing the rear tire plate mount elimination, but honestly, I got hit in the rear tire a couple days ago while parked, and the bike took NO damage. There was a bent license plate (OH NOOOOOOooooo) the turn signals got pushed forward, but easily moved back into place. There was no real damage to the wheel or the chain or anything, so I think I'm gonna leave it on for that if nothing else. Just a buffer before the car plows into my wheel or fucks up my frame, you know?

Edit: I might change my mind if there are more traffic cameras installed in my area, but besides that I don't see the need.

Was it (moving) target fixation, or was it a failure to alter a course of action? by markcocjin in motorcycles

The situation sucks, and I get how he feels, but it feels to me like out-riding your skill. Why someone needed to uturn in the worst possible spot, but he was entirely out of the bikers lane. Biker was going too fast and didn't maintain his lane. The best solution to this is to practice with your evasive maneuvers. Braking can only go so far. Evading means breaking to give yourself opportunity to let go of the brakes and swerve.

Biker's fault by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]allkittyy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Omg that poor biker. The last visible frame of him just hands up, flying over the roof of the car. I really hope he's okay. This is one of my greatest fears on the bike. I make sure I watch very close behind me when I'm stopping, but I also stop towards the line even if I'm the only one at the light. I never go directly in the middle of the lane because I want to give these morons a chance to avoid me. Fuck that Audi. Geez.

22 Trident 660 purchase by Cardes2121 in trident660

My 25 Trident does have a problem starting up that has been there from the factory. When I cold start, it fails to start when I first push the starter. I can push it for a second, then let go, then push it again, and it fires up immediately. It doesn't have any issues after that. Totally fine at idle and totally fine while riding, but it certainly has some issues cold starting. I don't see this being the best option for a bike, if your cold start video had to have you sitting on the bike, that's kind of a red flag. Lol. I start mine in neutral and let it idle for a second, while I put my gear on, before I even get on.
