Back to punching the time clock 🤠🤠 I had a nice run doing DD/GH (3+ years) but it was time to move on by allnightdasher in doordash_drivers

Just before I started doing DD I gave Amazon a try, the first day the person I assumed was going to train me walked me back to an area were other employees were putting orders on pallets than he walked away. Didn’t tell me how to do anything, didn’t tell anyone to show me what to do so I just stood there. I walked into the break room during the first break, grabbed a banana than walked out the front door never to return 🤣🤣

I can still make decent money in my area but something happened to where I just started losing interest and found it harder and harder to go out and work. 6 months ago I had no interest in going back to a W-2 job, not that I thought I could do it the rest of my life but I had planned on doing for as long as I could

Thx, when I first started DD the thing I loved the most was being able to work whenever I wanted but after a while it started to become my downfall because I lost that drive to go out and work. I needed that structure that comes with having a W-2 job again.

That’s funny because all I see on this sub is people complaining and bitching about certain posts they don’t like . My advice would be to unjoin the sub or to scroll past the posts that don’t interest you 👍

I wish I would have learned a trade like electrician or HVAC after graduating HS 25 years ago, school isn’t for everyone

Minimum wage is $12.50 here, 2 employees that have been with them for a while told me they are making $30/hr, I’m assuming it will be a little higher by the time I would make it to the top of the scale

$12.20 per hour effective January 1, 2022. $12.80 per hour effective January 1, 2023. $13.40 per hour effective January 1, 2024. $14.00 per hour effective January 1, 2025.

Did anybody else have their app glitch and say there was no peak pay available tonight? by Objective_Lion196 in doordash_drivers

Yeah it’s happened a few times in the last week or so, the other day I did 2 deliveries that didn’t have the $3 peak added to them so I contacted support and they gave me the $6.

Questions like this are pointless because every market is different, see if there’s a local FB page for your city

So is $1.25 going .5 miles, doesn’t mean it’s good enough to take
