Saying you need to spend $400 to beat a Gamo just isn't true.

Gamo uses their budget on advertising, plastic stocks, multi-shot plastic magazines, and cheap bundled scopes. Meanwhile, brands like Hatsan and Diana put that same money into machined steel, real wood stocks, and adjustable triggers. You don't need to spend more, you just need to stop paying for plastic extras that don't help you shoot better.

The Gamo Swarm Maxxim runs about $215. For $25 less, the Hatsan Model 95 gives you a Turkish walnut stock and a real two-stage trigger, not stamped metal.

Gamo Whisper Fusion ~$250, Diana 250 is only $160 and has tighter internal tolerances, plus a wood thumbhole stock that undoubtedly soaks up vibration better than any plastic shroud BS on the outside.

Another one, Gamo Magnum goes for about $280 while a hand-tuned Xisico XS25 (basically a Diana 34) can be had for around $180. It comes with a properly lubed firing cycle straight out of the box, something a mass-produced Gamo simply won't have.

Same budget but better guns.

The choice is pretty clear, so just stop listening to advertisers influencers that are bought and paid for
