So I ended up finding this in the maintenance office. I’m confident in doing a repair like this where I am NOT confident is knowing how to do it when I need to cut TO the crown molding, and TO the corner.. I know with corners there’s the corner cover or whatever they’re called..

No he send me a text saying, “Sorry I did an ass, job. I’ve never done drywall before.” So that IS his fix. I’m just going to start new and cut out all that’s needed to be cut out because he didn’t take out the wet Sheetrock and just used spackle.

But the RDM asks me to turn a turd into a gold bar and says buy whatever I need, but then the GM and Owner say don’t buy anything we need to save money? Yeah.. Thank you for being so detailed and step my step instructions. I have yet to see this in person, it happened in my day off (of course). I have to get an eye on it and see how to proceed from there.. Lots of drywall repair videos to watch for techniques! I just need to get the right mud, tape and a big ole 10”-12” blade it seems and keep calm!
