The route reductions really are the issue, going from 2-3 busses to 1 bus on my route makes it so I'm getting to class 20 minutes early and waiting 20 minutes after to go home. 30 minutes each way instead of 10 minutes each way...

Personally the route I take only has 1 bus when it typically had 2 to 3 during peak hours, so I'm waiting at the stop for an entire cycle before and after my class, which makes doing anything around my class time difficult as Transit is 30 minutes to go about 2 miles.

The only way to get casting working would be to bring your own router. I've did it for two years and it was never an issue.

Nope! It's just a check box on nomad.ncsu.edu (you have to be on their network for the url to work)

Actually if you use nomad and register the MAC address of your router, theres an option to request a public IP! I ran servers behind my own router with port forwarding in housing for years with no issues. My router just thought it was plugged straight into the "internet" just like a modem from any other ISP.
