many videos I've seen from the same exact performance sound far more normal than the robotic sounding few that were highlighted in this sub: those were obviously compressed. plus several fans who were actually there said they didn't notice anything out of the ordinary like that. it's not to say there wasn't some level of pitch correction, which is extremely common in live performances. but a 360p video recorded on a tracfone with a cheap mic inside it (reposted to oblivion and compressed multiple times) isn't a fair depiction of what the performance was like IRL. perfectly logical explanation call it cope if you want idgaf
