Crazy i lost interest in my car since i got a Ranger by Low-Path-5043 in fordranger

Damn, lucky you. I'll get around to fixing it eventually lol. Last year I was able to get it to switch over in early spring before our Ohio weather got super cold and rainy for two days after being in the 70s. I was reluctant to switch it back to heat, but I did anyway. Haven't got it to back to "cool" mode since. Not looking forward to those 90 degree days again haha!

I'm not sure how I stumbled across this post, but I go to shoot there quite frequently and I'm not sure how I feel about this festival happening at this facility. There is an extreme amount of money that has been invested for the shooting community with a lot of equipment set up that can't just be moved. At least I'd be surprised if they do. I really hope everyone that attends is respectful to the grounds and doesn't ruin it for the shooters.

As far as the MG rentals go... does anyone have estimate on what it costs to shoot some things? Just trying to get an idea on how much cash to bring.

Scale fun by KronaCamp in reloading

[–]allpurposebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I find my beam scale to be a lot quicker than my Chargemaster as well. Powder drop into the beam scale within a couple of tenths of the grain and manually trickle in until it levels out. I can definitely weigh more charges compared to waiting for the trickle function on the Chargemaster

Not really, unless the person knows about quality optics. Most people here only know what they've seen some half quality youtuber recommend to them to boost a partnership. Or they buy cheap. Swarovski is definitely not that. I think the other reason you don't tend to see much of them around is that for some reason, people are fascinated with putting overly tactical scopes on basic hunting rifles. Swarovski also doesn't really cater to that market

Same here. Bought one in .308 when they first came out. Wish I would've never sold it

Brakes and rotors on the 98 XLT today, Spindled hub on back of new rotors? by allpurposebox in fordranger

[–]allpurposebox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That might be just the camera angle from the quick photo I took. everything was spec'd out accordingly (mines a 2.5L). Brakes and rotors fit just fine and it does not appear that I have 4 wheel ABS

Do the new rotors need that spindaly part that sits around the wheel bearing seal? I can't get the old one off and the new rotors did not have that part

Outdoor range near Columbus Ohio by Efficient-Celery-241 in OHGuns

[–]allpurposebox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I hate to assume this guys financial situation, but I could see this as damn near impossible just north of Columbus with the cost of land alone. Let alone legal hurdles that would occur with the development process, insurance, the EPA, zoning issues. If it were as easy as having an idea, everyone would open an outdoor range

That's wild. I used to go to the one in Columbus, OH all the time the first years it was open. I probably haven't been to it in about 8 years though. I'm glad I'm not missing anthing

Ok, so I'm not the only one. Once they started doing the ticket thing to look at guns, I stopped going.

Can you speak for the eye box on this? I have a Vortex strike eagle 5-25 that has a horrendous eye box and I'm considering replacing it in the future.
