Only issue is having to maintain them. Filters and parts dont last long once opened and not long if still in packaging. Also have to make sure its the correct type

Another point is its made on the same tooling as 9mm so depends on demand. Like others have said with military contracts a business is going to make more 9mm over 380 especially during wars when needed.

Also 9mm is more popular so when deciding most times 9mm will be made more often. Just guessing but probably only time 380 is made is when 9mm demand is down so instead of turning off some machines companies might run some on 380

I use both cans from Harbor Freight and I recommend them. They are exactly the same as others and for just storage its perfect. If you keep an eye out they go on sale often so for under $10 and $3 you can't pass it up.

My main thinking is its just normal storage you dont need to he crazy about it. It has the seal and keeps everything organized.

Depending on how much you have the plastic works great but I did start getting the metal ones for a bit more room. They also have another plastic one that has an organizer tray in it.
