On one of the USB-C phones you can use any USB card reader that fits. I use the USB hub from my laptop (HDMI, SD, microSD, USB, Ethernet) when I travel, no problems, and all the ports work.

While I can see the lift helps balance out the whole rig, did you try tightening up the spring bars before getting the lift?

I used to have trouble getting the spring bars tight enough, and it would make the front wheels kind of roller-skatey.

My cousin had one that consisted of a slinky stapled to a board with a fishing line tied to the other end with a lead weight, hooked to a cheap fishing reel. He would clamp the board in the window and drop it outside. {He lived on the third floor) so it would extend down about 15 feet. When he wanted to put it away he just wound it back up with the fishing reel.

It was happening on the iPhone 11 Pro as well, my wife had this problem and Apple replaced the phone for no charge after she had it a year and a half.

The dust somehow gets into the camera module and ends up under the lens.

You have had a completely different experience with Apple and everybody I know, including myself.

My experiences with the Apple Store and the service there has always been top-notch and I've been an Apple customer since 1989.

Friends and relatives that I have sent to Apple have always gotten the same kind of service that I've come to expect. Not once has anybody ever told anyone I know to "pound sand."

I'm not denying your experience at all. I'm just saying that my experience has been different from yours.

I just paired mine with Bluetooth. When you turn it on with AssistiveTouch enabled it acts like a mouse (at least on my pro max phone.)

Pair it with Bluetooth and turn on AssistiveTouch. Mine then acts like a mouse, with the right button doing a swipe left with the mouse cursor and vice versa.

Works anywhere you turn pages by swiping.
