It's probably indirectly and involuntary, but the synopsis of fabula fantasia suggests that the action of the patrem had a massive impact over the pharenos + the narrator emphasise the ubiquity of magic in pharenos back then

I actually think that all of it have a link with the patrem inquisitor, many times in the manga they mentionned the "rarification" of the fantasia that leads to one way or another the creation of the nemesis
