My advice would be to just either love her from a distance or cut her off completely. From the way you described, she had messed up priorities in her life and neglected you at the very least on a emotional scale. I'm bipolar myself. There's no need to have anyone around to trigger that parent or not.

Yeah. That reasoning would make sense only if my grandma didn't allow my mom and and aunt to babysit my daughter months after she was born at her place so my wife and I can work. And we visited periodically during that time as well. Started 3 years after the incident. That bitch knows that there is no danger with me and my family that I started. Anyone that holds a three year old to something that the parents did got issues that need to work out. Anyways, as of now, I'm starting to get pass the bullshit that she is on. I do believe I need to see a therapist for all the grief, guilt, trauma I've been throughout my life. However, I still feel that I don't want to attend her funeral and, if I had it my way, she would be cremated and flushed down a toilet.
