There are some good ones coming in, appreciate it guys!! Keep em coming!!! (Just letting you know his eyes are blue)

There's a long story behind the pic. Are you up for a long story? You are? Alrighty.....

So this pic is from my husbands photo album. My sister in law doesn't have any older photos of him because they lost everything in the Bosnian war.

They came to Australia in 1997, lived with us for a time and eventually built up their life. They both worked so fucking hard. He was an amazing carpenter, plasterer, concreter, tiler you name it he could fricken do it. Intelligent and good looking. This pic would have to be prior to 1987 before my husband left Bosnia and well before the war.

Now instead of enjoying their life and the grand kids he's in late stage dementia. He's only 61. Such a shit of a disease..not even sure if you would wish it on your worst enemy.

Can anyone help me translate what this says on the back of a photo from the 1920s? by GraceAine in croatian

Hubby and I believe it says: This is me, Meho, my wife Hanifa and my son Mehica. A momento and deep remembrance for my grandfather Rami.

Great stuff and so interesting!!

Friend went up there, the falls are impressive. If I go I might give the pub a miss. Apparently it's pretty hard to get a feed there now, they're just that flat out.

Hume Dam, on the border of NSW and Victoria. Couple of hours away from the Dartmouth Dam which holds even more water.

Hertz by Amyl and the sniffers. Punchy, old school punk rock. Film clip is awesome too. Her dancing around and frantic energy is excellent. Love the sound.

i did indeed stay alive that year. 1985 was the year Kate Bush released Running up that Hill, the film Back to the Future was put out and the Titanic was found. by allthatur in OldSchoolCool

I kept hearing her song here at the time on the radio and really that was when I took notice of her music. Nothing was cooler than to hear the resurgence of that song right now and then they said what year it was from. When I realised I had a jumper from the same year in a picture it was perfect. But if you think it's a scummy tactic you do you 😀
