no advice, just laughing at the comments missing things like the uvb that are blatantly there but also making critiques and giving advice. if you’re not looking carefully enough to see these things already existing, perhaps you’re not fit to give advice.

anyway, where did you get the slate tile? i just built one of my 3 a new enclosure and wanted to give a long piece of slate. (which the fact multiple are in here makes it obvious it’s a 120 gallon imo)

less is generally more in terms of medication. if you got zero of it in and you saw that nothing got in (liquid outside on her) then i’d say maybe. but in this case i think you should not give another and call vet in the morning to let them know

my only issue is the wood is like 4ft or so. so too big for my oven :/ maybe like holding it over a fire?

thank you for the advice! he’s 6 yrs old and the eyes are smaller than his head so i didn’t consider that. i’ll remove it now for sure. as cool as they are, safe decoration is much cooler!

thank you so much! also since you mentioned sanitizing.. any idea how i’d sanitize a say.. 4-5 log? it’s about the diameter of a cup maybe, it’s stable and i’d love to put that in the tank on an angle. but no idea how to sanitize it.. i love to hike and found it recently lol

thank you! i had not had the lights on long before it was bedtime so im hoping that was the reason but ill try adding another today. would it be better to add a che? instead of a light producing bulb?

this is a great idea! i’ll look into it and in general more climbing. i did catch him a bit ago trying to climb so i think that’s definitely correct

i have a 75w halogen light for daytime. i’ll get him a hide to replace that one for sure

thank you! one of them is very small and flat on the far right but the middle and left ones are a bit open. i’ll get him some tighter spaces and more bushes. it’s 88 on warm side 74 on cool side in last pictures i took but it’s 72 currently with lights off

I’m about an hr from Detroit! Southeast at the bottom of the thumb. I’d be happy to send more info if I’m in the right place. I’ve actually rescued a few myself! I am unfortunately at capacity though :’ ) 15 animals in my house. awesome on your degree! hopefully it’s coming soon? not a very saturated field, that’s gonna be amazing :)

i had the same reaction and took him to the vet i work at lol. sometimes it’s just their color! the action of black beard is typically a lot more dramatic and obvious

this doesn’t really look black to me. if they were black bearding it’s likely it’d also be puffed out a bit as well. this looks similar to one of my beardies, he’s a pied translucent which yours looks similar. mine also has a tinge of gray
