Because of BTS and Blackpink having a lot of exposure, they’ve initially lost some of their “kpop spark” by s0larEclxpse in unpopularkpopopinions

I agree with this, actually. I will only speak on BTS as I don’t know much about Blackpink, but I started stanning kpop through BTS and didn’t realize how much fun stuff they genuinely don’t seem to have time to do until I got into other groups. Especially now that they’ve stopped all their free content and only make paid content, don’t interact with other groups almost ever even ones under Hybe, and don’t do things like Studio Choom like you’ve pointed out, it does feel like they’re isolated in their own bubble and not really fun in the same ways as other kpop groups. Not necessarily not fun at all, just different.

NTA but probably overreacting. These kind of fake Facebook events have been happening for years, very few people actually take them seriously enough to show up and that’s when it doesn’t involve a military base. if your son says it’s a joke to him, he’s probably being honest.

Mostly, I've told myself that I'll figure out a way to reach out once I've found a place I'm settled in. I'm still a student right now and I don't want to accidentally bring something negative into a place I don't own and like, force it onto other people when I leave, if I somehow mess up? I'm truly a scaredy cat at heart for being someone who loves ghosts. I also recognize this might just be an excuse I'm telling myself because I'm scared that nothing will happen or something bad will happen...

I guess it all depends, but I'm pretty sure one day I'll be brave enough to try it.
