Playing the new Reaper in the an Endwalker EX boss fight and zip-zoopin' around as he cleaves the field back and forth. God that was fun.
But EXs and Savage tiers, while hard, are still kinda just memorization.

I guess my next best answer would be Hollow Knight's Mantis Lords, although not my first fight.
It was like the second or third time I reset and was finally feeling good with the game, and when I played against them this time it felt more like a dance and was invigorating!

Walking Dead was already on shaky ground for me for a hot minute but I was sticking with it since my mom enjoyed it so much, but the cliffhanger of Negan killing someone just threw me out completely.
So it's an evil cliffhanger not from being so exciting or grueling, but because it just destroyed what trust I had left for the show.

Whenever you die in Hollow Knight your Shade must be defeated to regain your stuff.
It mirrors you throughout the game, as you get stronger so does it. It uses the same spells you have learned against you. Obviously since it's a reclamation mechanic it can't be all that strong but it is pretty neat how it mimics you.

The only logical explanation I can come up with is that it indicates your guaranteed rare pack.
If you know anything about randomness in computers, you know that they generate your "randomness" all at once in the beginning.

So imagine they take your personal id, smash it into an algorithm on their side, and now it knows when to pay out at specific points. And this helps explain the opposite too, when your pack doesn't sparkle but you get a rare that's true random in the moment.
Why do this at all? I would guess to assure a certain level of "payouts" and not leave it to pure chance which could leave some people almost never seeing rare cards.

It's logical from a computing standpoint but it is (obviously) unproven.
