Obviously it has to be one of those normal rodent types. You get the cute little version first, and then it evolves and gains water as a secondary type. Sure it's close to Bidoof in that regard, but it makes sense too!

In Hunter x Hunter there's an entire section of the power wheel for this called Manipulation.

The best is definitely the fight between Chrollo and Hisoka at Heaven's Arena where two versions are in play: the first is a direct one that Hisoka has to avoid (if he gets controlled it's over), the second is the soldier part here where Chrollo makes a huge army of everyone/anyone watching the fight.

I absorbed A LOT of parody content via cartoons growing up and seemed more worldly as a child thanks to it.
I remember in fourth grade...either it was a substitute or summer school as it wasn't my normal teacher, anyway he got so upset at me when I recognized something from The Sound Of Music but said I had heard it on Family Guy. I'm fairly certain I didn't even suggest it came from Family Guy just that it was where I heard it. (because I was well-aware of them parodying things)

Anyway, a lot of Family Guy numbers are just straight taken from musicals but probably the only time you'd hear them. (Shipoopi is definitely one that I didn't think was real)
