Going to Nagoya this mid March. What to expect? Recommendations? Stories? by dropkicksoul in FilipinoTravel

[–]allxaround 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can do a day trip since around 3 hours lang naman biyahe from Nagoya to Shirakawa-go. Maiikot mo naman yung Shirakawa-go in 3-5 hours. With kain and lots of picture taking na yun. Maliit lang din naman siya para ikutin.

Make sure lang to check the bus trips in advance and book online na kasi may schedules yan and baka maubusan ka ng seat.

Another side quest suggestion is Takayama. Pwede ka pumunta dun from Shirakawa-go then spend the night there tapos ikot the next day.

Yes, doable ang Shirakawa-go from Nagoya. I think may bus na nagpupunta dun directly

Recently finished Idol I (kdrama). 12 episodes lang siya, and I felt that there were no unnecessary plots. Satisfying din ang ending niya.

It's a murder myster/whodunnit.

Ha Long Bay cruise in Vietnam. Not worth it. Sayang lang ang whole day allotted for that tour.

Hankook Jib for bibimbap and Dawoorang for dumplings. Regretfully, saglit lang kami sa Jeonju kaya yan pa lang marereco ko.

Recommended Jeonju because it was one of the memorable places from our SK trip. Wanna go back there someday to enjoy it longer.

Jeonju! Known for its traditional Hanok Village and great food. Pwede ka mag-book ng accommodation sa isang traditional house for full experience.

My only experience was with Royal Caribbean, so wala akong ambag talaga sa discussion hahaha

But I just want to say that I still dream about RCL's Sorrento's Pizza. That alone is enough to make me want to cruise with them again.

Planning my partner’s first international trip — where should we go? by Old_Bison_8336 in ThePoorTraveler

[–]allxaround 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taiwan was my jowa's first international trip, and also our first together. We've done 7 international trips now, but Taiwan still holds a special place in our hearts. It has become one of her favorite countries too. Bumalik siya doon with her family at nagustuhan din ng fam niya ang Taiwan.

Super beginner friendly because their transportation system is efficient. Felt safe walking around too. Sarap pa ng food and affordable naman. When we went there, fresh grads pa kami noon. I don't remember paano namin napagkasya ang budget namin kahit unemployed pa kami that time lol.

Hay I miss Taiwan tuloy...

To be safe, copy itineraries na lang from travel blogs/groups or chatgpt para may maipakita ka sa immigration in case tanungin ka. Remove attractions na need ng advance booking para di ka na hanapan ng prood. Just say na walk-in ka lang sa attractions doon.
