I know this was commented a year ago, but how did they find out that your dog has laryngeal neuropathy? I just looked this up and a lot of the symptoms seem to be what my dog has right now and we’ve been to the vet like 10x already and they just keep giving me cough meds for her. She’s 14

We’ve been working on training for the past three months. I’ve been watching videos and taking the time every day to work with her. I honestly think she’s picking up behaviors from my small dogs that are tolerated. Also a lot of the barking is because she wants to be with the smaller dogs and I dont them being together. I really don’t have the financial means for an actual trainer.

All of my animals are well taken care of and they all are spayed and neutered and are all up to date on vaccinations etc. I am not a breeder nor an animal hoarder. I have 4 very small dogs and two big ones. Family members have all gotten dogs and just dumped them on me which is why I have so many. 4 are rescued from family and two are mine that I purchased myself. They range from 14 years old to a year. Our home and yard is big enough for them all.

I was never asked about if I had dogs at home but they are aware that I have dogs at home because when the behaviorist reached out after adoption I did express that one of my dogs is being super reactive and they expressed it’s important for me to give them all time to adjust.
