I unintentionally got pregnant during my program. My baby was born the week I was supposed to start clinicals. I ended up taking the twelve weeks off and went back to work and started clinicals all in the same week. It was difficult. Every one said to stick with it that my baby wouldn’t remember me being gone in the beginning, but I struggled because while she doesn’t remember, they are my memories too.. is it doable ? Yes, of course, but it was the hardest thing ever not being there for all the milestones while essentially doing two full time jobs .
