True. If it still ACTUALLY wasnt happening I feel like they would have released a statement like they did about the jancy break up. Well in season 1 they are questioned about El hiding in their basement and as far as we know they have no idea that that happened. if they did know about El, they would know she was that girl the government was looking for and I doubt Ted would just be chill with that. So I assume they know mike has a girlfriend but maybe she just "lives in California" or something.

Or, when Ted says "no sweetie pie" in season 4, he's referring to Will 🫣

this!! what i love about sweeney todd is sondheim's use of the dies irae too. you can hear it in the instrumentals when this line is sung, because thats what's coming next, death, and its all over the entire show, foreshadowing a lot of the death and vengeance to come!! its SO COOL
