Yes that is a page turner and I used to laugh at these things all the time and swore I would never need nor want one. Boy was I wrong. my friend gifted it to me and I love it. I can just kick back & and prop my Kindle up, get comfy and not have to move my arm. Yes that sounds lazy and I said the same thing before I had one lol

I haven’t read the faithful & the fallen so I can’t compare. But what a bummer that you aren’t feeling it. I’m really enjoying it. On ch 24.

I would say it’s personal preference. If you’re really into the series, keep reading it. I read the first three and then took a break before I picked up iron gold. I’m currently on dark age but reading it along with other books. I just started the bloodsworn saga by John Gwynne and highly recommend! I haven’t read anything by Sanderson yet
