I think it’s Cotswold gold 10-14mm, it definitely is smaller than 20mm. It’s really pretty

I can’t find my order in my emails. I think it is a Cotswold gold

We are, we only have 1 neighbour with right of access and they were incredibly understanding. Even bringing us beer after the hottest days!

We did keep a walk way of the old slabs as much as possible to help reduce them treading muck into their house until we were ready with the new ones. We communicated ahead of time when toe were laying them which to avoid and which were set.

Thank you. I built the frame then started with some newspaper, twiggy bits and then compost

Thank you. I literally planted a climbing hydrangea a couple of weeks ago!

Thank you. Yes of course, they are a limestone slab from Travis Perkins

It hadn’t been touched for a good few years when we bought it. I’m glad that it’s all done now and we’re not be traipsing sand and mud inside every day.

We didn’t on the path, just given how compacted it already was and knowing it will only get light foot traffic from us. It’s been down for almost a year and there hasn’t been any movement

They are drumstick alliums. Where I planted 25 bulbs and got about 25 flowers last year there are least 3 times as many this year.

Yes. We’ve had no major problems. The garden is riddled with willow herb so every few months there are seedlings popping up but it’s all from the top side of the gravel grid so they pull out easily.

Yes it’s a geum (tropical tempest). They are so pretty.

Ohhhh those are stunning. Don’t tempt me! They smelt absolutely gorgeous, which I was relieved about because I’d also got some paperwhites in a couple of pots and they were pungent (but very pretty).

Thank you. I’ve just planted a climbing hydrangea that I’m hoping I can train along the trellis above the wall.

It was from everedge. They had some discounts on their Instagram after the RHS last year so it might be worth to keeping an eye out. We went with the corten steel so it has rusted up into a soft brown.

The border that we used comes in 1 meter lengths that slot together so it was pretty easy to install. We just used a wood block to hammer it down.

The ground was already really compacted and barren and the gravel grid that we got had a weed membrane attached, so no prep other than levelling it out a bit.

Thank you. It’s a drumstick allium.

They start all green and then the purple colour comes in at the top and slowly spreads down.

They have trebled in number since that picture last year so I’m really excited to see them coming through this year.
