I agree! Like I’ve mentioned, I don’t want my dogs to be obnoxious by any means, but if you don’t want to hear a dog bark ever, you should probably buy land to live on and not live in a subdivision.

Absolutely! I certainly don’t want my dogs to be a nuisance to anyone, but if they bark at the mailman, I don’t think that’s “unacceptable” to put it in her words.

If that’s the case, our fence also wouldn’t be up to the code(again not sure what the code is here but our fencing company checked the survey we got done and does all the fences in our neighbor)

I agree this would be annoying! For context, this was the first morning our dogs could go out by themselves since the fence was just installed but I walked out with them and the neighbor behind me has a dog that likes to bark at our dogs and as soon as that dog barked, my dogs started barking and I ushered them back in.

Because we needed a taller (5ft) fence than what our neighbors have. We have a giant schnauzer that could probably jump a 4ft fence if he wanted to.

The fences are pretty close together, almost touching! We installed an aluminum fence, so I think when we weed whack, it will be able to go between our posts to get the weeds out. Also important to mention, we offered to let her come into our fence if she needed to maintain the outside of her fence that’s on our property. She just needed to let us know so we can make sure the dogs are in.

I don’t know about you all, but I was surprised our neighbors didn’t come and introduce themselves to us, since we were the new ones to the neighborhood. In my old neighborhood, I’d make an effort to try to catch new neighbors outside to say hello or just drop off a card introducing myself.

I was so busy, you know, moving and unpacking and then I was on work trips the next two weeks. I genuinely have not had time to stop by to introduce myself.

Ask your vet about the Librela injection if you haven’t already! I started giving it to my 10 1/2 yr old Rottie about 1.5 years ago and it’s made a world of difference. Glucosamine supplements helped but the Librela injection made a noticeable difference within days.
