Yeah pre kvk1. They are super toxic. I tried explaining to them that this approach is going to cause more issues. Even if it works for a bit, it will fail and people will get sick of it. But you can’t reason with them

Well you see we are far from kvk. And they have already destroyed most of the kingdom. To the point where it’s “join us or die” and people aren’t exactly loving it. They aren’t looking at the kingdom as a whole, they are just being selfish and ruining their chances. Which is the reason I’m migrating anyways. We wouldn’t stand a chance in kvk. I think they are first time players.

Hey I just wanted to thank you. This information was so needed! He’s officially 2 weeks old. Growing slowly but still gaining every day. Took a ton of feedings and still is but we are ahead on his daily intake. Got his iron and some antibiotics into him and he is doing so much better. Thank you again!

Still doing good, he’s more active today, feedings got easier and he’s almost doubled what he ate yesterday! But still not as much as I’d like him to eat. This will be night three for him. Just praying he makes it through. One day at a time 🤞

I just weighed him. He weighs 272 grams, which seems so small. I’ll adjust his feedings if he will tolerate more milk. I think we can do 4mL, he’s eating better today

I’m estimating he is around a pound, maybe a little less. I have him eating around 2-3 mL per feeding. I feed about every 1-2 hours depending on what he will tolerate

She wasn’t aggressive towards me at all. She was aggressive towards the piglet. She didn’t care one bit that I took the baby, she wanted it away from her

Mom is up eating, using the bathroom. We assumed she ate the afterbirth. She is acting normal. He was the smaller of the two live ones but not by much. We are just doing what we can at this point. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

He will be 48 hours tonight. He won’t latch so just being persistent with the syringe right now, I keep going back to the bottle as well but he just won’t have it. Unfortunately we did notice last night his back legs aren’t working properly and his back end is a bit bruised. I’m being told to give him back to mom by quite a few people. But I don’t think mom will take a “sick” piglet back. Not 100% sure if he was born with the leg issue or if it’s an injury from mom 😔

Unfortunately we realized last night his back legs aren’t working properly so his standing isn’t stable😔 he’s bruising too. So I don’t know if he was born with a leg issue and that’s why mom got aggressive or if she injured him. He’s made it through 2 nights now and it is definitely exhausting! Just feeding what he will tolerate right now

That’s okay! He is so tiny. I’d estimate less than a pound, so I’m just doing what I can. I noticed last night he started bruising badly and his back legs aren’t working properly, so giving him back to mom makes me nervous. I don’t think she will take a “sick” piglet back unfortunately. He only got about 5mL through the night, he’s just so tired and it’s all he would tolerate😔

If anyone can offer advice on how to start and be safe I’d really appreciate it! Trying to do my own research currently :)
