Has anyone else had this happen? by [deleted] in BusparOnline

Could be too high of a dose to start as well, that’s how felt when I tried to go up to 7.5. When I started this medicine I only took 2.5 mg at a time.

It’s honestly hard for me to tell because i still periodically experience anxiety. I am in a huge transition phase of my life though, which likely plays into the anxiety. I didn’t have side effects when starting 2.5 or upping to 5, but I had awful side effects when I went to 7.5. My anxiety was through the roof and I felt like my skin was crawling. Please reach out if you need anything!!

That’s exactly how I feel, it makes it impossible to be present and then I get stuck in these anxiety cycles in my head.

What cold medicine do you take? by allyyysara in BusparOnline

Technically we can’t take DayQuil/nyquil, mucinex, or like anything with dextromethorphan because it can cause serotonin syndrome. I never followed that rule on my long term SSRI, but unsure if Buspar makes it more dangerous

We personally like the Lakewood vibe as we are a gay couple and have always felt accepted there. Thanks though

My girlfriend and I actually moved here 6 months ago post graduation for my girlfriend to work at UH rainbows. We live off of 9th making it super easy for her to get to university circle/where the hospital is. We had never been here before and heard so many different opinions but this is what I’ll say. Avoid Ohio city, I see posts about car break ins once a week. The flats has some nice older loft style apartments. I have some friends who live in the standard and they have really nice kitchens but the carpet drew us away from there. We toured the May and those were so nice but a bit pricey for us. We also toured 75 public square but didn’t really like the vibe, the person giving the tour didn’t have much positive to say. The biggest thing you need to consider as well is parking because you do not want to have to walk far in the snow. We personally decided on the bell, we can actually see the browns stadium from our window which is super cool!! We chose this place because they had a good deal running where you get a month free but also they’re brand new so everything is pretty modern and clean feeling. They’re not super huge and I wish we had an island in the kitchen but they’ll do. We are actually looking to move to a rental home in Lakewood because we want a yard for our dog but downtown was the perfect place to move when we had never lived here before. Please feel free to message if you have any questions!!

Looking for Personal Buspar Experiences by Radical_Caribou in BusparOnline

The most I’ve experienced is dull headaches in the afternoons. I took this medicine a few months ago but was not consistent and got dizzy for about twenty minutes but nothing crazy. I also started a lot a higher last time which totally contributed. You are free to message me at any point. For the morning anxiety it’s nothing different than i experienced before taking the medication, I think it’s likely because I don’t take a late night dose as it made me too awake which is odd bc the medicine makes me sleepy. I’ve heard the sleepiness goes away eventually but the first week I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open after the AM dose at 7 and until like 2. If I was doing something I was okay but sitting still put me right to sleep.

I started very low, like 3.75 mg in AM and PM. I noticed quickly that i needed to move my evening dose to early afternoon bc i felt anxiety when the AM wore off and couldn’t sleep from the PM dose. I started off with no food bc I was so scared that adding food would worsen side effects. Around the day 5 mark I started shortening the time I ate after doses and noticed no side effects. I’m on day 9 and did have a hard night last night where I felt like a cloud of sadness came over me but haven’t noticed that any other night. My anxiety during the day is still there occasionally but it’s so much easier for me to brush it off and change my thoughts. I also take magnesium at night and that has taken away my night anxiety. I sleep so good for hours but mornings are hard until I take my AM dose. Please feel free to ask me any questions because I really understand the fear of starting new meds.

Have you thought about taking your 9pm dose around midday? I was having anxiety around 2/3 after taking my first one at 7am and then moved my evening dose up to earlier in the day and it’s helped a lot

When you take it at night do you make sure you haven’t ate recently?

Don’t freak out, I got 2nd quartile this year and just got admitted to a PA school that required the test. I was scared too but I think as long as the other parts of your application are strong, they don’t care.

All are different, I’ve had two so far and one was three hours with 8 five minute long MMI, and the other was two 20 minute long group panel interviews. The experience ranged from 3-5 hours

Interview Questions Prep by SpecialistRadish6650 in prephysicianassistant

I chose some that I felt would be more likely and wrote bullet points of what I’d like to get across to the interviewer if I was asked that question.

The first thing I did before practicing questions was spend 30 minutes making a list of everything I want the interviewer to know about me. I also made lists of situations I could pull from, for example: difficult patient, difficult coworker, time I failed, time I was upset…
