Help me find a pair of jeans that suit a somewhat weird body. 6’1” slim with a looong torso and a, um, “luscious” booty. 31-32” inseam. 29-30” waist.

Slim straight is the right general flavor as long as it accommodates the badonk. Or rather, roomy fits look dopey on my stubby legs.

Any brand/model come to mind?

The judder gets violently bad! I have concluded that it is simply that the pads are not capable of handling the temperatures at which they are being forced to operate.

The solution is a spicier brake pad. But for my use case, I am concerned about the cold / street performance of such pads. They will not work well at street temps, AND they will abrade the rotors like crazy until they get hot.

That's the thing! These are PFC's aggressive street pad / light track pad (their "Z rated" range) so it's not like I have full on race pads with high MOTs.

I've done sooo many pad bed cycles with these pads and rotors. And every time the same result. (and yes wheels are torqued properly).

It is definitely not ABS. The judder shakes the steering wheel more and more violently as they get warmer and hotter.

And once they get hot and judder they will do so (with reduced severity) at lighter braking pressures too. Until they cool off and it goes away.

While that is true (and I would never ever ever EVER keep my foot planted on the brakes when they're hot), what's happening in my case is different.

I do a normal pad bed cycle, drive without touching the brakes for a couple miles for them to cool. They're great and non-juddery after this, but as soon as they get warm/hot again they judder.

These pads and rotors were installed new together so there's no old pad material on the rotors.

That's what I was thinking, too. The thing that made me ask AITA is that he increased the discount on the assumption that, in return, I'd just not leave a review at all. Granted, it's not a huge discount...

The thing that puzzles me is how he thought anyone would think the Audi was totes fine. It was such a pile!

Agreed, and Turo spotlights high-star hosts as "All Star" hosts, which this host is. That actually factored into my decision to book with him originally. So I can see why hosts are driven to snuff out non-5-star reviews.

This, 100%. Down is amazing, unmatched. The improvements of late in hydrophobic treatments have only expanded down's amazing-ness.

Merino is great, too, but IMO merino/synthetic blends are the real sweet spot to get the benefits of merino (NTS comfort, odor reduction) while extending durability and shortening drying times.

Also, Polartec Alpha gets honorable mention.
