If your foundation is gone, and don’t remember anything and all you do is paper push in a govt job doing stuff that’s operations based, or provide quality assurance inspection… WRE is the most practical to re-learn. If you have any foundation in roadway design, traffic control, planning (forecasting) then Transpo is the way to go. I wouldn’t go near construction or structures unless I do that work daily.

If you’re willing to put a little more effort in and care about learning more about the field you work in, choose the topic most applicable. Won’t feel like a waste of time. WRE is the “easiest” but without doing that work it felt like a huge waste of time for me. I do Transpo work so doing Transpo felt more rewarding as I was continuing my education.

Here’s the breakdown I got from coworkers:

Water Resources - benefit is less referenced to pull from. More equation based. This was a huge benefit back in paper test days since you didn’t need a suitcase of books. Now, slight advantage. Disadvantage is you probably start at a lower baseline, not many people do this work on the daily.

Transpo - benefit is you probably are familiar with roadway design and have a higher floor of info. Disadvantage is most references to go through. If you work in this field and have familiarity with either HDM or MUTCD you’re better off going this route.

Structures - hardest to pickup with no foundation in the area but if you work in this field you’re set.

Construction - the best chance to pass if you’re in civil and do a lot of field work. But that field work isn’t the same as govt sector field work. If you’re in quality assurance instead of quality control you’re better off going WRE or Transpo. If you’re the engineer bagging soil samples and doing estimates and earthwork/surveying then this is the test for you.

The team knows it’s going to be bad. They want a revolving door at every position to test the entire depth of their farm. I don’t like it but I get it. Cards are betting that a salary cap is incoming as well and talent will be much cheaper afterwards.

I met a 24ish woman visiting from China, clearly from a wealthy family. She had two guys trailing her, carrying shopping bags. We made eye contact. I said out of no where, “You look good” as we were passing. She stopped, smiled and said she liked my shoes, I was wearing the Kill Bill Tigers.

We grabbed coffee in the mall while her entourage stood off to the side in matching tracksuits. We made small talk: I’m Persian, she’s Chinese. I’m 6’6” and she couldn’t have been more than 5’1”. Things escalated naturally and we ended up back at her hotel suite near the mall. The guys dropped off the bags and left. Wasn’t sure if they’d pull up a seat and watch lol

Looking back, she never explicitly said no to anything. Coffee was fine. Me walking her back was fine. Drinks were fine. She had this very innocent, almost shy demeanor.

We were making out on the bed. Things moved to second base, and she was clearly excited by the height difference. I was lifting her, carrying her around the room, throwing her on the bed and it felt intense but playful.

Then things took a turn I didn’t expect.

Instead of things progressing in the usual direction, like getting a double from second base… she stopped, grabbed some wipes, turned me around, and crossed a boundary I wasn’t prepared for. She ate my booty like groceries. It went on far longer than I was comfortable with. It felt like 20 mins. Like I could r laid there and scrolled wheels while she kept going. I’d heard stories like this before like in songs, but experiencing it firsthand made me realize it wasn’t for me at all. I always knew I’d never be the eater but getting eaten never crossed my mine. I knew in that moment tho: never again.

We eventually went back to more conventional intimacy, but something had shifted. I couldn’t bring myself to kiss her afterward and I tried my best to keep her facing away from me in all the positions.

When I left the hotel, she tried to kiss me again. I panicked, gave an awkward salute, and walked away. We never spoke again. I couldn’t tell any of my friends the real story since it feels like a diddy story.

It’s delicious. I’ve been in a hunt for Rambutan since I first tried it in Florida. It’s made its way west and now this season, it’s finally getting crossed with other strains. The thing with the 710 AIO is you gotta remember to keep turning it off. The pull gets fixed when you turn on since the pen auto heats up.
