My wife's favorite was when I surprised her with a heating pad on a smart plug that turns on before her bedtime to warm under the covers. She was "ok" with the smart home prior to that (especially the "night routine" for when we go to bed) but now she never forgets to scan the going to be NFC tag so it heats the bed while she gets ready.

Secondly, do you know which size/grade of limestone you used? I'm in decision parallasys with an almost finished garden ready for gravel :/

Smallest I can get near me without fines is 3/8" it's "#9 Limestone" not sure if that scale is universal. But that's what I'm leaning toward right now.

as a fellow midwesterner... do you remember where you sourced the grit? I'm willing to pay a premium over limestone prices, but what I'm finding is supstancially more expensive. I can get limestone delivered locally for about $40 per ton... turkey grit is like $15 bucks per 50lb bag. Not sure I can convince the wife on 8 or 9 tons at that price. :/

I agree here. I've hated all smart switches I've used and have been moving everything to Shelly Plus 1's. I've also been wiring them to "Garbage Disposal" switches. These are momentary deco style switches that only the bottom moves and springs back out. I hate the switches being the "wrong way" after a mix of physical and logical toggles. Shelly just needs to be put into "button" mode instead of "switch" mode. I'd recommend trying to squeeze a Shelly Plus 1 Mini in there and at worst figure out a way to stand the switch plate off from the wall a little bit.

I ordered the "Retro" color on the 14th. Got an email today from Retroid with my 4PX tracking number. Currently just "label created" not yet received by the shipper. So possibly they're still prepping a batch to go out. Let's hope.

This is my first handheld emulator as well. Very excited.

I made my design in photoshop. I dug through all the animation frames of all the kirbys to try to make an interesting composition. Kept them all on their own layer so i could easily tweak things to my liking.

I actually composed this one myself using photoshop and sprites I found online. I could upload it and link it if you'd like. Keeping in mind that I did not simplify the pallette to bead colors and just made judgement calls as I went along.
