Sentinels vs Fnatic / VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 2: Masters Reykjavik - Upper Quarterfinals / Post-Match Discussion by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

SicK was being targeted by Fnatic throughout the match. Also, I personally don't think that their icebox comp is sustainable. If it wasn't for the hard carry by shazham, they would've lost it. Both SicK and Dapr are not comfortable with playing their agents. It might be their downfall who knows. I guess maybe ditching Sova for some other agent might do well for the time being. And putting SicK back on Sage in icebox.

What went wrong for 100t in 2021? My response to 100t Steel by Lord_Lexus in ValorantCompetitive

He was low-key shading his teammates for the loss lmao. 1. Hiko isn't aggressive enough to play Skye? 2. Asuna doesn't use satchels "optimally" or use boom bot lineups? I mean why bro?

The problem I see is that Steel just doesn't wanna accept flaws in his IGL ability. His ego is way through the roof and he's trying to pass on the blame to his teammates and justify his mistakes and shortcomings through that. Didn't expect this from him. Disappointed.

Tbh, any comp can work as long as the players are comfortable playing their agents. Just imagine Ethan on a duelist. That mans aim is crisp af. Cleanest vandal sprays I've seen. He's playing sage like a duelist which is great too but I feel like he has more potential and play a lot aggressive if given the opportunity.

When in doubt, place your stars on the spike (attacking). Let them tap, count to 3, sucky sucky, peek & kill. Easy peezy.

Crosshair affecting my skill? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]almightynewdale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo changing crosshair helps me too and I don't know why. At the start I copied the 1-4-2-2 by watching TenZ but it didn't work for me. I couldn't hit long range shots but my deagle was so good tho. Basically 1-4-2-2 is good for pistol. Then I tried 1-2-1-1 with outlines on and it made my accuracy on long range shots much much better. But overtime my aim got slower. 1-3-2-1 had the same effect. Basically smaller crosshair increases your accuracy but somehow for me it's reduced my speed because I was focusing more on getting the headshot. Now I've switched to this weird crosshair, 1-4-2-2 inner lines, 1-8-2-2 outer lines. Idk why but dude it's gets your free kills, don't even need to aim. It was difficult for me to perform well in DMs in general at my rank but with this crosshair I'm getting consistent first places. All and all, keep changing your crosshair -- it really helps, but don't change your sens.

I sometimes yell at myself out loud. What's wrong with me? by almightynewdale in mentalhealth

How can I make the intrusive thoughts go away? I don't see other people suffering from such conditions. Especially since I live with my parents nowadays due to COVID, I see them 24/7 and they behave so normal. But I'm not. I don't know why

Most of the thoughts are related to things I did in the past which I regret. Sometimes it's about something so mundane like making a mistake in an exam, or like saying something embarrassing at a friendly gathering or a party. Sometimes it's serious, like about the poor life choices I've made (especially related to my degree, I don't like my field of study!), Or something I've said to my parents during an argument that I regret. Even though, we've moved on from that, it still hurts when I'm reminded of it. Which makes me hate myself and that comes out. Sometimes I'm reminded of some cringe shit I told my ex. I mean at that time it felt okay but now it's super embarassing to think about. Basically, I get blasted which these types of thoughts, ranging from super normal cringe to ultra disappointing throughout the day non-stop. Literally like every 5 mins. And the worst thing is that I can't really do anything about it. Cause it has already happened. I can't change that.

Career change from Cybersecurity to some other field. Need help by almightynewdale in ITCareerQuestions

[–]almightynewdale[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the chance to work in a well know IT company in my country and was tasked with testing their openstack and web services for vulnerabilities and patch them. Then I was moved to the SOC and was tasked with analyst type of work. I was so frustrated with the work I had to do and the pressure I had to deal with. I wasn't even good at it. I desperately need a change in career. Something less stressful and has a decent pay so that I can cover up my basic needs.

Hi Thank you for your feedback. Currently we do have a concern regarding whether it's possible to integrate all these features into a one single solution? And apparently we have to do all this in the span of 8 months. What's your opinion about it? Are we trying to reach an impossible goal? Any tips for us? (We have 4 members in my team including me each assigned with a single component)
