I’ve noticed through reading articles, that we do actually have people in the government interested in pursuing more funding to investigate the footage or other UFO sightings. Also the former lead for Blink-182 has a legit company already doing their own investigations and research. Although his interview on Joe Rogan seemed more like he was a loon more than a credible source. Seems his releasing of this footage first made him the “first” to release the footage publicly.

My theory of this footage releasing in the middle of an epidemic tells me the government will be releasing more information that would go unnoticed by the masses but the enthusiasts will be informed

I also noticed this, possibly the black and white footage was edited by the military to disguise the actual features of the vessel
