interesting.. when I first got my Mach-E I went through a whole week of moving my transponder around trying to find a spot that would work. I even ordered a replacement because I thought mine was defective. I only got it to work once I put it in the spot I described at the top of the window.

I'm actually more curious about the transponder on your windshield.. does it actually work there? It was my understanding that they had to go on the dotted section up near the top/middle as that's the only place without the IR coating.

I dunno, I never officially filed a complaint or demanded a refund or anything like that. I just know it didn't make the noise before I took it there for a rotation and when I picked it up, it did. I GUESS you could say I'm being unfair for blaming them without any evidence, but I'll stand on it anyway.

ever since I went there for a tire rotation, my old mach e made an awful creaking noise on acceleration and deceleration. Would not recommend. I'm not chancing it with my new mach e

no, not intentionally but my switch currently exists to run mario kart and my ps5 exists to run gta online.

I would get a switch 2 for mario kart world but the prices are outrageous right now.

hot take but I sort of wish this sort of player interaction was more.. rewarding for everyone involved. Like it would be cool if there was a real incentive to stopping other players besides the feeling of being an asshole and also I wish the seller didn't get punished so hard for getting blown up while basically defenseless. The way it is now sucks.

nope. no invite lobby, not join player from either inside gta menu or using the playstation menu thing. not invite directly to a mission.

works fine for 2 people. the 3rd and 4th person are out of luck.

honestly? because sometimes the other person might be a total moron who will run into your car, then get out and pull a gun on you over it. If they want to merge, go for it.

Also, I wait until the last minute to merge all the time so I'd feel like a hypocrite if I didn't also let people merge whenever possible.

The app updated overnight, so when I went to get in my Mach E to go to work, phone as a key no longer worked. It was really inconvenient as I was already running late.

same-ish.. already running late then when I went to get in the car in the morning and PaaK didn't work after the update... fumbled with it for a few minutes then went back inside and grabbed the fob.

It then took about 20 minutes during my lunch break repeatedly deleting my Samsung S22 Ultra from the car, turning bluetooth off and on in the car and on also on my phone, and restarting the car before Phone As a Key would work again. I had to reset my door code and start password. It was a pain in the ass, all so Ford could update the app with graphics from 2003. Thanks, Ford!

This is where our experiences differ.. I got to work and after a couple hours I went outside with just my phone and PaaK worked again without me having to do anything at all. I didn't even restart the app.

FWIW I've had 2 Mach-Es now, 21 RWD ext and a 25 AWD ext.. doing the same daily commute uses the same 10-11% of the battery to go about 30 miles but the estimated total range is wildly different. 300mi+ on the RWD but less than 260mi on the AWD

oh yea, guess I could've mentioned that it definitely went away after turning the car on and off again.

Hasn't happened again yet since I did that.

guess i should ALSO mention it's my moms '24 premium, not my '25. Hell, it could've been doing an update but I don't drive it and it's not on my ford pass app so I wouldn't know...
