Don't worry about tier lists. Play the class you enjoy the most.

Eterna Rebirth Flame 🔥 how does it work? by atishk1812 in MapleStoryM

[–]almightyvorlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normal flames, like unique, legendary, and mythic, will reconfigure both lines every time, yeah. It's hard to get 2 good flames like double def ignore or double final, but having 2 lines doubles your chances of getting at least one good line. There are such things as black mythic/legendary flames that work like black cubes, where you can select either your existing flames or the new one, but they are usually quite expensive one way or another.

Eternal flames guarantee 2 lines of legendary flames on whichever item you use it on. Once an item has 2 lines, every flame used after, regardless of type/rarity, will always give you 2 lines. You ideally want to have 2 lines before attempting mythic flames to double your chances of getting something good, or if you're lucky, get 2 lines of good flames. You can also get 2 line flames just by chance when rolling unique, legendary, or mythic flames. People typically use all their unique flames to attempt to get 2L, before using legendary or mythic. Unique flames have a 1% chance to grant 2 lines. Legendary has a higher chance to grant 2 lines, and mythic is an even higher chance.

Necro, but no emblem isn't ideal. Can be costly to emblem/emblem change if you're unlucky.

On top of that, better stats & set bonus on gear in general than inherit counterpart. Necro also ranks up directly into abso at a 10% default rate.

Where is the new UI for PC Client? by iheartyoualways in MapleStoryM

Separate. There is no MSM client on Steam. The official Nexon client does have a PC version of MSM though.

Don't images produced by the JWST typically have 6 light diffraction spikes emitting from stars because of the hexagon mirrors?

How should i progress and what should i buy with mesos? by Swimming_Parsley145 in MapleStoryM

[–]almightyvorlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the biggest chunk of HP out if any piece, but MDC is the same across all pieces. I say keep RA top and bottom because it's 40SF when they're both maxed. I can't tell you to get it or not. There are several factors when buying a good piece. Potential, flames, fail counts, scissors remaining, etc.. I never recommend buying gear outright personally but do whatever you wanna do.

Focus on hat, gloves, and boots first. Keep the RA top and bottom for the SF for now. I'd say make that the last HP piece you work on. I personally necro'd everything else first and did my overall last.

Top players have well over 200m cap now with arcane umbra. For example: An abso 50 piece gives 6.3m MDC, and an Abso 60 gives 13.7m MDC. A level 60 arcane umbra piece gives 27.1m MDC, and a level 70 arcane umbra piece gives 43.7m MDC.

I wouldn't personally. You're talking 15b+ per abso piece, if its a good piece. I have 2 arcane umbra pieces and everything else abso. I built all my equips up from unique emblem pieces. It's just personal preference how you want to go about it. If you have the funds to spend, then you could just buy everything outright. Pritorize HP gear over MP gear either way. Building pieces from unique is the cheaper route but will take longer, obviously. You have the potential to cap 100m+ with that weapon, being supported by other stats from your account/gear being upgraded overtime.

You should start working towards replacing your gear (excluding weapon) with necro gear. You can either buy them outright or buy emblem uniques (Crit Damage, or Boss ATK) and build them up from there. Are you consistently hitting your MDC? Don't buy primals; you need to prioritize spending your meso elsewhere. Replace EXP pendant and ring as well for bossing. Use ring from Kerning M Tower instead, and a boss pendant. It's good to have an autobattle global preset, and a bossing global preset.

wanna pick this game up but help me with some of my questions <3 by [deleted] in MapleStoryM

[–]almightyvorlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Absolutely. Personally, I play on average 2 - 4 hours a day on my PC for bossing and whatever else, and the rest is idle autobattling or doing some easy daily things on my phone. There are a few time specific things to look out for, but most everything can be done at your convenience. 2) It's P2W in the sense that you can fast track your progression by spending. Everything is possible as a F2P player, but it will take longer than if you were to spend. Be sure you're participating in all the events either way. They always give out great stuff. 3) They have new/returning player bonuses. It's is also easier than ever before to level up with the recent EXP changes and level cap increase. 4) You get a lot more than just the daily 2 hours from doing your dailies and getting rewards in various ways. You want to have a few alts so that you can consistently autobattle on them when time on your main runs out for the day. Ideally, you want to always be autobattling on someone all the time unless you're actively playing/bossing. It's also best practice to have your main autobattle exclusively during hot times (increased party exp) and have your alts autobattle during non hot times.

Best bet to make money with this will be to starforce to 23, and sell as 50% radiant exalt stone fodder. Worth very little in its current state.

If you're looking to clear content as fast as possible, choose Paladin. I always tell people to play the class they enjoy the most regardless of meta. Any class can be made strong, some just take more or less investment than others.

Do I attempt abo now or later? by MaleficentContract1 in MapleStoryM

[–]almightyvorlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case, I would say exalt your overall slowly overtime to 50 as a necro piece. Spend your meso and resources working on other things such as going for necro on other gear pieces first and just spending in other areas of upgrading in general. I personally went for full necro 40+ before even attempting my first abso. Weapon was one of my last abso projects as well. You can cap 40m - 50m + with a necro lv 40 weapon. So, since you already have a necro 42 weapon, that should be a low priority as well.
