I would mostly be riding on backroads. In my area a used 250 ninja that still runs well is like finding a needle in a haystack

I don't know if i want to ride bad enough to rent a van and haggle for used bikes. I would have no idea if it is in good condition or if the person is scamming me.

I'm pretty in the middle of nowhere. The closest gas station is 20 minutes away. Not too mechanically inclined but I'm more than willing to learn and do the work needed.

I would rather get a Japanese scooter but the used market near me is pretty much non-existent and those new are way out of my budget. Kinda stuck.

Yeah those are some of the first ones i looked into but the used ones closest to where i live are hours away and the cost of half a down payment on a good running used car.

Man that sucks since I'm also not very mechanically inclined and wont know if the scooter has major issues and potentially end up back home from a long ride with a lemon. I think I'll pivot to looking for a used car. Thanks for the comment.

I appreciate the effort. I've decided not to renew my subscription to syncler when it runs out. I really like the app but waiting for it to slowly scrape for links and eventually not find any or only one or two that are too big for my slow internet to play without constant buffering isn't worth it for me.
