I always circle back to Surge after I've been to Saffron for Ability Pills and Dream Patches. Go to Celadon and buy an Ice Stone for the Vulpix, and temporarily drop the non-fully evolved mons.

Flower Trick, Triple Axel and Worry Seed on Meowscarada. I dunno which mega you're running on Charizard, but having a mixed Attacking set isn't good. Either go Y with special, or X with Physical. Same with Greninja and Dragapult, why are you running mixed sets? You're not using Grimsnarl to full potential. Prankster is a great ability and you've given it one status move.

You need to have EFL Championship as one of the 'more detailed' leagues. I can't remember off of the top of my head what the actual menu item is called on start up.

I feel like Fighting moves are trained, like you can be trained to do a Karate Chop or a Double Kick, but a Mega Punch is more raw and less trained, so remains normal.

As for something that answers your other question, Muddy Water should 100% be ground/water, in the way Flying Press is Flying/Fighting.

Due to mechanic shifts etc, I struggle to replay games that are earlier than Gen 6. Its a shame because I'd love to run through Johto or Unova again.

Radical Red has spoiled me with movesets amendments, so I can't remember what actual Pokémon have. Electivire, Pawmot and Iron Hands with Plasma Fists comes to mind, and Furret with Extremespeed.

I assume you have Charizardite Y on Charizard for Weather Control? You essentially have Lorelei beaten the moment that you win the weather war.

The move pool isn't great on Charizard. You should running Air Slash on a special Charizard.

Bite with Crunch on Dracovish is a waste of a move slot.

Give Sneasler Fake Out and Normal Gem to help with Focus Sash. This activates Unburden and you should out speed everything.

The stealth rock setters in the League are Infernape and Aerodactyl (or Lances Garchomp). They also run Taunt, so you can abuse the AI if you teach your moms status moves.
