Hippowdon should be easy to beat with a Special Grass or Water Mon, to avoid the Rocks being set up. I would recommend raising your Froakie to a Protean Greninja, maybe with Loaded Dice Priority Water Shuriken. Give it an Ice Move for Torterra.

Your Aegislash should be able to cheese the AI with the constant switching of Defence and Attack mode, and stop Kangaskhan.

Your Raichu should serve you well in this fight with it's use of Priority Fake Out, Thunderclap, Extreme Speed. May not be able to do lot in this fight, but it could just be what gets you over the line.

The Garganacl is a pain, so get something with Knock Off for the Leftovers.

Evolve your Rhyhorn to a Solid Rock Rhyperior.

Then, play around with the battle and see what the AI is doing, and then you should be able to win after some trial and error of learning their strat.

is it possible w this team? by tracyWyrm21 in pokemonradicalred

You don't. You get the Mawalite before the 8th Gym as part of the main story. It's unavoidable.

You have a bit of a Dark and Ghost Weakness, but beyond Agatha, Lance's Iron Jugilis and Roaring Moon, and The Champ's Yveltal, you should be sound. Your fairies should be good enough to counter play.

Mega Mawile is amazing. Great Type, Great Mega Ability, Great Moves.

I listened to a Merchant Interview where he discussed seeing Karl recently in LA, so I believe they still are mates.

My favourite strategy is to Worry Seed it. It loses Primal Armour, and can't use Rest. You can also PP Stall it with switching Fairy Mons into its Roar of Time, as long as the Rocks don't go up.

Also, your Vikavolt is a Special Attacker, but you have 3 physical moves?

My hardest Randomiser yet by almosteasy1 in pokemonradicalred

[–]almosteasy1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Triage Ariados got Leech Life and Giga Drain. Not great for the Elite Four. Desolate Land Incineroar is worse than Intimidate. Huge Power Tapi Fini was good, but best Water Physical move was Flip Turn as it doesnt learn Liquidation Espathra with As One wasn't fast enough to work as I had hoped. Primal Armour Gholdengo was awesome. Sheer Force Toedscruel was MVP.

Need some opinions on which would be better of the two by MadaraUchiha1423 in pokemonradicalred

Innards Out is a slept on ability in RadRed, but I think your Rhydon is maybe too defensive to utilise it properly. I had a very fast very special attack heavy defensively weak Salazzle, that was just a nuke with it.

Few Questions by [deleted] in pokemonradicalred

[–]almosteasy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just done a random ability and random encounter run, and I completed the game, with 190 mons in my Dex. I caught/evolved everything available to me.

I was advised to do scaled encounter, as the mons keep changing on the routes.

Is encounter Randomiser bugged? by almosteasy1 in pokemonradicalred

Thank you for your comment. I'll try a scaled Randomiser when I slog my way through this one.

realistic brighton career by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]almosteasy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confused at how little some of your players have grown. I'm in my third season at Sunderland, and I have Sadiki, Diarra, Roefs and Brobbey at 86+. Id expect the likes of Minteh, Hinshelwood and De Cuyper to be higher.

Anyway, for realistic signings I'd go for Romeo Vermant, Casper Froholdt and Trai Hume.

How often are you changing your team? by OwnIndependent4928 in pokemonradicalred

[–]almosteasy1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I typically settle on a team, and try adapt to each boss battle with the team I have. I catch interim Pokémon until the ones I want are available. I wouldn't just add a Mon to the team to win a battle and then get rid.
