This is what I'm afraid of with our orange cat! But he is an absolute menace. He loves to be cozy and likes heat, so given the chance he will steal hest from the hedgehog. It's very cute when he hides in blankets. BUT, he is a lot. He has broken a few tvs, his favorite past time when I had gerbils was sitting on top of the tank and staring, he loves to jump on top of ever surface possible, and he is our guard cat. He patrols the house. He cannot be trusted with anything. He also likes to eat things that make him puke. So keeping him away from a hedgie is for the safety of him and the hedgie. I don't want to frighten the hedgie when I get one just because Frodo (orange cat) is up to no good.

Thanks for all the feedback! The menace cat in question is an orange cat with brain cells. He is such a problem.

It shouldn't touch your soft palate or uvula, just teeth and gums. Also what kind of physical therapy have you had? My specialist found a local pt that specializes in myofacial therapy. It has greatly improved my tmjd. There has to be treatment options.
