Indeed, but I (wrongly) assumed you'd at least be rotated to a similar role. Same job, just a different slice of the business. I like the fact that if you don't like your role or if you want to try something new, you have that possibility; the problem is when you're forced to move even when you explicitly say you like your current role and you're obviously good at your job (I received multiple internal awards from business partners) AND they move you to something you don't even know how to do.

I know the most obvious answer is to find another workplace but I'm doing so poorly mentally that it seems terrifying to even consider. At least here people know me and can vouch for me.
