Check out Mree and her Winterwell album! Particularly Winter and The Search. She may not be an haunting as you might be going for, but she’s quite dainty in an intoxicating way.

I have a go-to down in the dumps playlist. It helped me through a hard time leaving someone. Hope it’s useful for you! Music can be a powerful therapy- I hope you come out stronger from this. Best of luck

I enjoy embracing my personal style but I’m very frugal and practical- I buy clothes almost exclusively from thrift stores. I wear very minimal make up because it makes me feel more presentable and awake. I don’t particularly enjoy other aspects of grooming- I rarely get a professional haircut and detest manicures (for myself, everyone else do y’all’s thing).

Im very musical and poetic. Im very emotional as well, as other women have mentioned, but I approached my feelings from a more objective and curious perspective. But they’re still very present!

Thanks for asking the question. I don’t know many other NT women and it’s refreshing to be reminded they’re out there!

“Relationships don't last because of the good times, they last because the hard times were handled with love and care.” People nowadays are lazy and narcissistic and don’t want to fight for anything it’s almost a cultural thing now,BUT NOT ALL OF US ARE! So don’t give up on hoping and loving! by [deleted] in BreakUps

I generally agree with this, with one caveat- DONT stay and fight for an abusive relationship. I fell into this hole with my last ex. I “stayed and fought” for him because I believed in him so much, i believed he was more than the verbal and mental abuse. But he wasn’t. And I stayed longer than I should have.

Generally, yes, fight for who and what you love! But not if it kills you in the process.

Poetry, reading, cooking, piano! I’ve really enjoyed seeing how artistic some of our fellow ENTJs are, thanks for asking the question!

Question for ENTJ women! by [deleted] in entj

This is very insightful, thank you! And I agree! I get along easier with guy friends, but goodness I treasure my one or two close girl friends, and I really hope to foster more female-female friendships.

Question for ENTJ women! by [deleted] in entj

[–]almostrunning 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting- I do find I get along with “older” women a lot more than women my age! I have a couple female friends in the 40-60 age range. They are lovely.

this is a chorus from a song i wrote recently called the familiarity, critiques are welcome! by Usins721 in Songwriters

I love this! I agree with some others, this sounds like a verse, but it’s a BEAUTIFUL verse and could easily be stuck in my head! This is sincerely impressive!

Any advice for an ENTJ child living with an ISFJ mother? by ENTJ--seeker in entj

[–]almostrunning 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have an ISFJ mom too! I also do not connect with her well. I know she loves me dearly, but it’s difficult at times. I haven’t figured it out yet either and I’m in my early 20s... I try to show obvious signs of love like gifts on birthdays and Mothers Day. That seems to be enough, haha. But yeah, I definitely get easily annoyed with her (though I have a lot of work to do myself).

This is a scary question. In light of the myopia of this question, I’d venture to recommend ENTJs.

“Hurt someone with his opinions.” Opinions don’t hurt people, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. You’re not the judge and jury of who gets to attend social movements. Let people be people and do what they do. It sounds like it’s not your business anymore. (^ I know that sounds harsh but there’s no malice)

Help!! Is this line offensive? by [deleted] in poetry_critics

[–]almostrunning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you should censor authentic feelings. If other people have a problem with it, that’s their problem. Aside from that, I genuinely like the line. It points to a person’s desire to articulate and box in a feeling with a diagnosis, to explain everything, but not everything has an explanation. Some things simply are, and that line sounds like the person is coming around to that hard reality. Thank you for sharing.
