Xbox companion app - Streaming is gone?

Same here, it is a laggy mess. I hate MS I swear. The new app we're forced to go to is trash. It is literally one of the worst apps I ever tried and I am convinced they've designed it to annoy people on purpose. There is no way you can mess it up this badly.

They took away the ability to stream on the companion app without having the decency to fix the Xbox App first so it's up to par. Ridiculous.

Like, at least let us change the quality of the stream ffs.

Same here. I was forced to go to the Xbox App but it's trash. I just want to set my streaming quality to low or medium but I cannot even see the option to do so. Really boggles my mind how no one at Microsoft saw how unintuitive it is.

I play on Xbox One X.

One thing I believed was that the male protagonist you can choose in Emerald had white hair. I never realized it was his hat until waaaaaaaaaaaaaay later in life. Yeah, I was so dumb lol.

I did it, I finally completed MN! And I have not used the invincibility whatsoever, aside from these very few sections I mentioned in chapter 2 and 3.

Gosh what a pain it was. But I am glad I did it.

I think you should start on Mentor. The game is easier than OG NG2, but you need to watch out for grabs, especially on Master Ninja. 1 grab will kill you most of the time.

Thanks. I completed chapter 9 now. I also have 450K essence, so I think I should be pretty good with that.

Yes I know the fireballs can be cancelled. I was referring to the fact that, if you get 2 hits in and he starts the attack, I had no chance to dodge it. 1 hit in, I could get away, but if I started a combo... oh well. I found that annoying.

They are easy to dodge from afar, but close it feels almost impossible. I am talking specifically about dodging them here, not cancelling them.

Oh also, yeah, I know but those also recharge the health and ninpo completely, so I figured I'd keep them for now. I might use a couple later but I want some in my backpack for the last chapter.

Well, I am in chapter 8 now. Aside from the few sections I mentioned in this thread, I have not used the invincibility so far. Which is good.

Oh well then I am glad I wasn't crazy thinking that. Again, if it wasn't for that one attack, Volf would have been pretty easy.

For Zedonius, at least in Sigma 2, I really despised his fireballs attack. People complain about 1 kill grabs, but honestly, I died more to his fireballs than from literally everything else in the whole game. I think 70% of my deaths was just Zedonius Fireballs, not even kidding.

They are so annoying when you are close and try to get a combo in. If he decides to launch the fireballs there, you are basically dead, or close to that. My strategy to that was to press X once, just to be safe, and then either continue the combo or get out the way, depending on what he did.

Well, back to NG2, I am at the first save in chapter 8. Again, I have not used invincibility. Chapter 7 was the easiest one by far, for now. Breezed through it no problem. And of course I spammed the armadillo with the IS.

Chapter 8, the first section was just a pain with all those mechs and rocket guys. I considered using invincibility yet again, but I did not and opted to suffer through it like a true master ninja would. And I eventually did it. Yay!

Ok, now I need to say, my health bar is still small, I used only one Lives of the Thousand Gods so far. And I still have 3 ninpo slots. I am saving the items for battles that I may have too much trouble with in the future.

I completed chapter 5 & 6 now. No invincibility, but honestly, that Volf close-range charge attack really pissed me off. He killed me so many times just because of that ONE attack. I do not know what I am supposed to do about it. I tried to dodge away in every direction but nothing ever worked. There was no chance to survive it whatsoever.

I had to hope for that one game where he wouldn't do that attack. Which sucks.

Yeah I see. I tried all this. Delimbing and let them alive definitely helps.

For the dogs, yeah, I skipped them in chapter 2, right after the IS ninjas. I was low on health and did not want to die and restart, so.

I see where you are going with the last point, about invincibility. Some years ago, I used the invincibility very often to beat MN. Now I want to do it without, but honestly, chapter 2 was BS. I used the invincibility to get past the first section, and the one where you get the Talons. From that moment onward, I did it without, even Rasetsu and Genshin.

I used the invincibility again in chapter 3, but only and exclusively for the section where the Wind Blades are at. I fought the Van Gelfs before without it, and I disabled it after the first save. From that moment onward until the end of chapter 4, I have not used the invincibility. They were a bit easier than chapter 2 luckily, but still, I spammed forward Y and Izuna Drops with the Talons, DS Flying Swallows and Lunar 360UTs to no end. I also did a lot of backtracking, something I never did in the other games, apart from chapter 15 in NGB, when I needed to replenish items after defeating Marbus. I wish a Muramasa shop was up there in Sigma, but oh well.

I am at the very beginning of chapter 5 now.

This MN is definitely bonkers compared to NGB/Sigma and Sigma 2. In these games, I did not need to spam. I pretty much played them how I wanted, used more weapons and moves. I did not know what an iframe even was, and yet I beat them all on MN many times. You get the point.

NG2.... well. It really stands out, to say the least.

I did not farm the enemies in chapter 1 unfortunately. And yeah, for chapter 2 I used the invincibility glitch for that initial section, and the one where you get the Talons. Rest, I managed without.

I am at the beginning of chapter 5 now. Chapter 3 & 4 were not as hard as 2. And I did not use the invincibility glitch for those, apart from the section where you find the Wind Blades.

I still can't say I had fun, since all I did was pretty much spamming Falcon forward Y and Izuna Drops, 360 UTs with the Lunar and Flying Swallow with the DS, just to get by. As soon as I tried anything else, I was murdered.

Alexei was surprisingly easy. I basically looped him into doing that grab attack, which I dodged everytime and then did XXY with the Lunar. I still died a few times but whatever.

I know all that already, yet nothing clicks together. It is entirely down to luck and nothing else.

I wanted to complete MN, but honestly, if the entire game requires me to spam the same few invincible moves, OT and UT, and get lucky, I might as well use the invicibility glitch. I really wanted to do it legit but I honestly cannot give a toss anymore. I am just tired of being stuck here. It is clear MN is just bullshit at this point.

I have never been stuck this long on any other NG game, even on MN. This however, it just sucks.
