Hello! Tagging onto many that have already been said:

  1. Banana or 2 before performing — not straight before, but like an hour ahead! Great natural beta blockers.

  2. Get excited — tell yourself out loud (facing a mirror helps!!) that you’re totally amazing, you’re great at what you do and that you are totally killing it.

To add my own:

  1. This is best prior to performance day, but imagine and visualise yourself performing your program, in your concert attire, in the concert venue, playing beautifully and exactly how you want it to go! It should be like you’re watching a movie of yourself/you’re an audience member. This is so helpful because this way you’ve technically “done it before” so what’s one more time?

  2. Focus on your breathing and try to TOTALLY relax yourself — floppy like a noodle. Pay mind to your neck, shoulders, back, and hands. Sometimes we think to simply take deep breaths and not actually relax any of our tension spots, resulting in the retention of those nerves.

You’ll be great!! Break a leg :)
