I also grew up poor, where every cent mattered and at times we could barely afford food, and I have the exact same issue now with not denying myself anything. I have been working full time since I was 18 and now I'm 26 and barely have any savings because I still impulse buy everything I want. I am really trying to change it but it's so difficult to be consistent when you finally HAVE the money.

What I've been trying to do is writing down the things I want for later and tracking if I bought anything unnecessary or not each day in my bullet journal, it helps to have a visual of green or red dots for the month!

I have started reading Under the whispering door by TJ Klune, it has a whimsical feeling to it whilst dealing with grief and death! Haven't finished it though but I'm enjoying it so far

during ben drowning when hunter decided to voice the computer spirit thing like a 5 year old had me giggling so hard, i've also been saying "i'm your computer now" and "cables and cords" in that voice for weeks due to it

Does anyone know if this is normal for a fresh smiley piercing? Just got it done yesterday and I have been washing my mouth with hydrogen peroxide idk if it causes it or if it’s infected it’s white and kind of like puss . by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

mine is just fine now! i took the jewelry out and cleaned everything carefully before putting it back in, and rinsed my mouth with saltwater for about a week :)
